David Rutley
Promoted by David Rutley, West Bank Road, Macclesfield, SK10 3BT I was first elected as the Member of Parliament for Macclesfield in 2010.
Congratulations to Tim Roca on becoming the MP for Macclesfield. I wish him every success in what is undoubtedly the best job in Parliament.
It was a great honour to serve our local communities since 2010 and I would like to thank all those who supported me in that work.

I'm strongly opposed to Labour-run Cheshire East Council's plan to close Poynton recycling centre. I will go on campaigning for local residents against the Council's plans to close local public services. They must stay open!
Reasons to re-elect David Rutley:
We have made real progress in our area. Last year, Macclesfield Maternity Unit reopened and we saw the £53m Poynton Relief Road open. With a clear plan to secure a better future, I am seeking your support on 4th July to continue this vital work.

Bollington Library is a busy community hub serving all local residents. I strongly support the campaign to keep it open. Cheshire East Council needs to take the time to work with the community to secure its future.

I am committed to improving road safety in Disley and Newtown. I will go on working to reduce the number of HGVs from quarries using the A6 and calling for 30 mph speed limits at Lyme Park bends and on Buxton Road, Newtown.
