Thousands of households in Kent and Sussex (UK) have now been left without water for days; children, families and vulnerable people struggling while South East Water fails to deliver basic service and can’t even communicate properly about when supplies will be restored.
This isn’t an isolated blip, it’s the predictable result of a privatised water system that under‑invests in infrastructure and puts profit before people.
As Katharine said,
