This was a lot of peoples first exposure to the anarchy of Rik Mayall and for good reason. Demolition was the first episode ever shown of The Young Ones, and was just what we all needed.
It's no doubt that Rik, Ade and the rest of the gang were some of the inspiration for comedy to come. And we are lucky to have been blessed with such a legend leading the charge on alternative comedy.
