Did you know? The first website in history was created in 1991. It's still accessible online!

WEB 1.0 - A static web, which consisted of ‘read-only’ pages, lacking interactive features.

WEB 2.0 - A dynamic web, which allowed users to read and write with numerous inteactive features, or what we see today as the internet.

WEB 3.0 - In other words, the next generation of the web which is decentralised. Think of it as the "read/write/own" version of the internet, without control of any central authorities or large organisations.

We're heading towards an internet where people can control their data and privacy, and whether companies can use (or not) their data. It will most likely be powered by blockchain technology.

In short, Web 3.0 promises to make data transparent and immutable, from personalised search results to cross-platform development tools and 3D graphics, nothing is being left behind.

The new version of the internet is picking up the pace! Let’s embrace it and give a thought over its adoption and benefits.
