Cheat sheet for all you graphic designers who get confused by scale (which seems to be all of you):
1:1 = 100%
1:2 = 50%
2:5 = 40%
1:3 = 33.3333333333333%, (though we shouldn't be using this)
1:5 = 20%
1:10 = 10%
1:20 = 5%
1:25 = 4%
1:50 = 2%
1:100 = 1%
If you get any thing in a different scale then the designer is being naughty.
A week into my latest contract and things seem to be going well. The work is interesting, the people pleasant and the expectations are realistic. If only that we're always the case!
