We are recruiting a Lead Software Engineer for our client, a market leader in the delivery of business critical software systems. Based Manchester. £50-£70 K

My client are currently looking for a java developer who ideally has hands-on experience of system integration, particularly into supply chain or ERP solutions.

The eCommerce world is changing fast, and we are in the midst of it, delivering market shaping solutions, with my client’s technology competing against the likes of Ocado’s. Our work is across the world, working for some of the UK’s and world’s leading companies. You would have the opportunity to travel and interact with different people and cultures. The work is definitely challenging, but equally rewarding.

You will have the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues and you will be a quick and self-motivated learner. Engineers are given the support they need, and through their flat organisation you will work with colleagues at every level of the business. For the right person career progression can be rapid.

Essential skills
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• A team player with a desire to learn more
• Qualified to a good degree level in any technical discipline (or are able to show that you now possess these equivalent skills through extended experience)
• Java 11
• SQL
Desired Skills
• Systems integration experience
• Spring
• Web Service, RES
• Minimum of two years demonstrable experience with Java development.
