Boston Marathon!!
8min PB and a 2.48 for ! Pretty perfect training block taking his half time to 1.18, 10k to 36.20 and 5k to 17.25 ๐Ÿ”ฅ hard work really does pay off. 75 miles a week with a full time job - shows what you can find time for if you really want it. Chicago next!
Massive congrats to .fraine for a 6th major marathon medal in 18months!! Thatโ€™s a lot of training miles ๐Ÿ˜‰ speedy summer now then letโ€™s talk about Sydneyโ€ฆ

Recent race roundup!
Tokyo marathon and another major for ! PB smashed going from 3.48 to 3.17 ๐Ÿ”ฅ Amazing stuff, Boston Q next ๐Ÿ˜‰
Great running at Mediacity Half and wythenshawe 5k by .coaching with big chunks taken off PB in both!
Aintree 10k and another win for .jane82 who also ran 39.20 at Trafford 10k - great stuff after recent niggles ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
was a winner at the York Winter Warmer 5k despite surprise XC conditions nearly ruining the day ๐Ÿ˜‚

CLIENT PROGRESS POST

This is my lovely client (Jess!) who contacted me back in July after getting a ballot place at London marathon 26!
At that time Jess was concentrating on strength at the gym rather than running so first off, like with any new client, we met up for an โ€˜MOTโ€™. This is where I go through correct warm up, technique, running specific strength and stretches plus a good chat about training planning.
After this we started a version of couch to 5k with a Parkrun aim end of August which she achieved at Alexandra Park. Next was 10k target - Wilmslow Winter 10k - again totally smashed it!
Gradually increasing things has been important to build fitness and avoid injury, alongside continuing weekly PT. Jess has followed the plan and now doing fortnightly Track sessions with me too ๐Ÿ˜Š next up - 4 Villages Half in January!
