There’s a long, proud history of boycott being used as a campaigning tool against exploitation and oppression, in the UK- as early as 1791, after Parliament failed to abolish slavery, activists promoted what became a successful boycott of sugar that had been produced by slaves!

Manchester Animal Rights Network out protesting MBR Suppliers JP Morgan on Oxford Street in Manchester today. Lots of leaflets were handed out, interesting conversations had. Plenty of support from and leaflets taken by employees of other companies in the building today. The pressure is building for MBR to close. Is there a local supplier you could lawfully protest? 75 companies so far have joined the boycott of MBR 📣🐾

Between January and June 2026, 891 Endangered long-tailed macaques have been imported for UK contract testing laboratories via Manchester Airport.

This is an alarming increase of over 170 monkeys compared to the same time period as last year.

The next conservation status after Endangered is Extinction. The long-tailed macaque species is hurtling towards this status because the global vivisection industry is exploiting them to death.

Manchester Airport, end your shameful role in the brutal and destructive primates for laboratories trade! 🤨

Activists from Free The MBR Beagles, Manchester Animal Rights Network and NARG - Northampton Animal Rights Group arrived outside Labcorp Huntingdon with a giant video screen to confront the 1000+ employees of this death lab with the truth about the disgusting abuse that pays their wages.

The recent undercover footage taken inside Labcorp and exposed by Animal Aid shows Pigs, Rats, Dogs supplied by MBR Acres, Rabbits and Monkeys being callously abused to death to keep Labcorp customers and shareholders happy.

Panic ensued with clueless security guards trying to throw their weight around, the gates being locked so workers couldn't see the video, Lynn Star express got their lorry stuck on the gates and burst a tyre in the process! In their rush to avoid the truth one Labcorp worker used her car to run down a protester and then almost ran over their head whilst speeding off - a reminder that the soulless violent individuals that work here have no regard for life.

The protest raged on into the early evening when most of the sickos had left to go home and spend their blood money. Imagine every aspect of your life, even the food in your mouth, being soaked in the blood, misery and death of living beings who could not fight back.

This place is disgusting.

Free The MBR Beagles 📣 Manchester Animal Rights Network 🐁 Boycott Animal Testing 🐾 NARG - Northampton Animal Rights Group 🐶 Merseyside Animal Rights Campaigns called in on the MBR Acres on Monday afternoon to speak out against this disgusting facility.

Sinister boiler suite clad dog abusers were spotted moving between buildings, they were wearing balaclavas to hide their shame. Several megaphones on the go at once let them know people's thoughts.

Head of inSecurity at MBR David Manning who never speaks had quite a lot to say for himself. He's a weak spirited creature and soon flounced off indoors to fiddle with his control panel.

MBR Acres is on its arse... call in whenever you can to protest. This sordid facility must go, not only for the MBR Beagles but for every animal locked up in every breeding centre or laboratory in the UK. The ripple effect throughout the vivisection industry when MBR closes will be huge. Join the MBR Suppliers community and help get the job done. 📣🐾

Today's Manchester Animal Rights Network protest at Barclays UK Barclaycard in support of the MBR Suppliers boycott campaign. Once again Barclays links to dog abuse were plastered across the outside of the branch, megaphones were used to expose Barclays and to educate people about MBR and vivisection. Lots of Barclays leaflets were handed out alongside leaflets about the Animal Aid toxicity.inc undercover expose on UK animal testing labs. We even met a beautiful beagle and their human! 🐾📣
