We are thrilled to introduce our newest NFU Mutual Financial Adviser, Pete Shaw , to the NFU Mutual North Riding family.

Pete brings sharp risk management expertise and a big heart for helping clients protect what matters most. We love Pete's energy, and we know our clients will too. Please join us in giving him a warm welcome!

Interests outside of work: - “Most of my time outside of work is spent with the family. I love long walks in the countryside with my 2 dogs, Cooper and Gus, both spaniels with boundless energy. I like pottering in the garden and I’m a keen spectator of most sports, but mostly football, golf, and darts. I also play darts in a local pub league on a Monday evening and attempt to play golf, though admittedly, only when the sun’s shining…winter greens just aren’t for me.”

Experience in the role: - “I’ve worked in financial services for 25 years. During that time, I’ve taken various roles in banking, bancassurance, advice compliance, and as a financial adviser, for the last 13 years. I bring with me a wealth of industry knowledge and many years’ experience of helping clients achieve their financial goals. I’ve had a very rewarding career so far and I’m now looking forward to helping my NFU Mutual clients succeed in all they wish to achieve both personally and financially.”
