Macademia

Some teenagers are creative in a way school doesn’t always recognise.
They notice buildings, spaces, atmosphere, details. They sketch constantly, redesign rooms in their heads, build worlds in Minecraft, or spend hours making things with their hands.
Architecture can be an incredible subject for young people like that — combining creativity, art, design, problem-solving, sustainability and real-world thinking.
At Macademia , our Architecture classes for teenagers in Nottingham are designed to feel like stepping into a real creative studio rather than a classroom. Students explore architectural drawing, model making, concept design, spatial thinking and portfolio-style work in small, supportive groups.
For many teenagers, it’s the first time they realise architecture is even something they could pursue.
If you know a young person aged 12+ who is artistic, imaginative, thoughtful or obsessed with designing spaces, this might be the subject they’ve been missing.
