APPEAL!!! Please help us sell the big stuff! Share with schools/nurseries/cafes anywhere you can think that might be interested!

Our hanging rooves would make great dens - our play area deserves a great home! Our Santas grotto (minus Santa) can be reused elsewhere - please don’t let these get broken down for scrap! 😢

We are absolutely open to offers but need help to sell them to people willing to remove and relocate!

We are having a second open sale day this Saturday 17th August 10am-2pm!

Loads of you have been in touch to say you couldn’t make it on Wednesday!

We’ve got a fair few bits left (only 5 BeanBlock logo mugs! 😜 get them while they’re hot!), Christmas decorations, party bits, stuff for the kitchen so always worth coming to browse! Or even just to say hello!

So yes all our cupboards are now empty as are our tables and chairs! And everything is for sale (including this lovely antique bureau that has not been as tidy as this in 4 years as I called it my desk!)

Our coffee machine (only 4yrs old) is in really good condition and has a full service history - we are hoping for £3k for it (includes grinder and all the accessories) but reasonable offers accepted.

We have soooo much stuff going from as little as 20p, we even have some favourite stock going at less than cost price (massive container of biscoff spread anyone??!!!)

It is with the greatest sadness that we have to announce that we are now closed permanently.

We are absolutely devastated that we were unable to give advance warning of this closure so that we could have the chance to say goodbye to you all.

We started our business as a result of our own experiences of isolation in parenting and a lack of places for families to gather. We wanted to grow a sanctuary and community of families that support each other to be resilient and feel seen.

We have been honoured to have watched your babies grow into school aged children - be the first to know you were expecting again and watch your families expand, welcoming tired joyful shell-shocked faces as you enter for the first time with a scrunched up bundle of loveliness not knowing what the clue you were doing - but leave full of caffeine and the knowledge you are not alone!
We’ve seen friendships form and marriages breakdown but through it all we have been there with an open ear and a warm smile.

This closure is heartbreakingly, unexpectedly but unavoidably sudden, due to ongoing unsustainable costs of running an independent business in the current economic climate we find ourselves in.

We thank you for your support and understanding at what is an incredibly difficult time for our BeanBlock families.

A chance to meet some of the parents and children that will be at the school gate with you on the first day of school.

A chance for you to arrange some play dates in the summer, so you (sorry we meant your little one!) will have some friends they know to play with when school starts in September!
