We are heading south on Thursday ready for Poole Lace Day on Saturday. It looks like it is going to be a fabulous day with Jan Tregidgo giving the talk and Dee Carver with her beautiful bobbins and LaceyMay's (haberdashery) joining us as suppliers.

We are looking forward to meeting lots of the Poole (and surrounding area) lacemakers 😃

We have seized the opportunity to take a couple of days beforehand to explore the area so will be heading off early on Thursday. Anyone attending who has anything on their wish list, please do drop me a line ([email protected]) to be sure that I include. We bring quite a spread but would hate to not include that one thread or book (or anything else!) that you had hoped to purchase.

Visit https://www.poolebobbinlace.com/lace-day.html for more information about the lace day.

Tatters - are you after a bigger shuttle that is great to work with and looks fab! We have now added the full range of Handy Hands "Starlit" Shuttles available - with and without a pick end.

Measuring 3.25 inches (without the pick end) they make a good beginner shuttle too - now which colour to choose!!
