I’m hoping some you might be able to help.

A friend of mine is trying to reconnect with a wonderful woman named Linda, who she met while sharing a bay in Ward 23B at Ninewells Hospital over the weekend of Friday 3rd July. In the chaos of her emergency admission, she never managed to get Linda’s surname or phone number before she was discharged.

Linda lives in Kilry, near Reekie Linn, and she and her husband previously ran the Glen Doll Hostel. She was an incredibly kind, warm and caring presence during a very traumatic time — the sort of person who makes a lasting impact.

My friend has since learned that Linda has terminal cancer, and she’s desperate to reach her, or her family, to pass on her thanks and send a small gift while there’s still time.
