Looking for something fun to do with the family this weekend? We are lucky enough to be one of the creative arts acts being asked to take part in The Oracle Shopping Centre’s big Bandstand Live Event.
“On 10th & 11th July The Oracle will be packed with workshops, performances and activities celebrating the very best of Reading.
Bandstand Live showcases a number of acts and workshops from across the town including arts and crafts, floristry and calligraphy writing.”
Here’s What’s on today - Saturday 10th July:
10:30am - Artspiration
Join Aspiration for a family friendly drawing workshop inspired by the wonderful creatures of our seas!
👉🧶👉12:00pm - Made by Tamalia
Truly calming and mindfully enjoyable workshop on how to create your own unique mini macrame plant hanger or keyring. A soothing and relaxing start to a long day of shopping.
13:30pm - Box of Delights
Come along and make a beautiful vintage pot design with fresh flowers to take home or gift and enjoy. Learn how to secure the pot for arranging and where to place your blooms for impact. Have some fun and create!

16:30pm - Strawberries & Cream a Celebration of British Blooms
Enjoy this 30 minute fresh flower demonstration that can easily be recreated at home, and will consist of a summer door wreath, hand tied in water, a basket design and a hat box.
18:00pm - Faux Calligraphy
Make your letters beautiful with this beginner's workshop in 'faux' modern calligraphy from Mint Lettering. Learn how to mimic the romantic calligraphy style using a standard everyday pen.
