🦠 Latest Covid- 19 guidance 🦠

Following the latest announcement made by the Prime Minister on the 4th January 2021 and after reviewing guidelines from the professional bodies for Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy in the UK, I can announce that I will remain open for mobile appointments.

❇️ High Standards: I will continue to follow a screening process prior to each appointment to ensure that you are not symptomatic – this is an assurance measure to all of my clients and will be carried out within 24 hours leading up to your appointment. The screening process will also determine whether the assessment and treatment can take place virtually or whether hands on treatment modalities are required.

❇️PPE: As usual, I will continue to wear PPE for the sessions and ensure that all equipment is sterilised between patients. I am fortunate to receive weekly testing but in order for me to maintain a safe practice, I rely on the transparency of my clients letting me know if they fall ill after an appointment, so that I can contact individuals that may be affected by this.

Regrettably, I have made the decision that face-to-face maintenance sessions (sports massage and geriatric strength and balance sessions) with people who are categorised as moderate and high risk by the NHS will not take place (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/people-at-higher-risk/whos-at-higher-risk-from-coronavirus/ ). In this scenario, if the individual’s need increases to the point where the individual will alternatively need to seek NHS support, then a face-to-face appointment will be considered. I will still be providing post-hospital rehab to increase independence and readmission.

🙏 Thanks again for your ongoing support and custom through these challenging times. As it stands, all appointments will be going ahead unless I have contacted you. If you wish to cancel due to the new guidance in place, then please contact me and remain mindful of the 24hour policy where possible.
