Shane Benton - Reform UK Rugby
Reform UK Rugby Branch
We're here to put some common sense back into local politics. There’s a reason why our popularity has exploded across the country.

All in the name of what’s ‘good for Rugby’. Nothing, whatsoever, to do with losing.
The Labour councillors on Rugby Borough Council who voted to cancel the 2026 elections 👇
We hope that the good people of Rugby will remember their names the next time they go to the ballot box!
09/01/2026
Rugby Labour have voted to cancel 2026 local elections and self-appointed themselves to power for a further 2 years.
Local government reorganisation is likely to take place by 2028, they have effectively given themselves another 2 years without a democratic mandate from the people they serve.
This is not about local government reorganisation, this is about keeping themselves in charge when they know they were about to be kicked out.

Meet Your Local Candidates for Reform UK Rugby
Introducing Gareth Keeley – Standing for Hillmorton.
Gareth lives locally in Houlton with his wife and two children. With over 30 years working in various roles within Information Technology both here and abroad, Gareth is well-placed to bring both a business mind-set and focus to championing your causes in and around Rugby, should he be elected.
In his spare time, Gareth served some 13 years in the Territorial Army, the majority of which was spent with the 5th Battalion, The Royal Green Jackets.
He is proud of this country’s history and what Great Britain has achieved.
A few words from Gareth:
“As a man who loves his country, I am extremely concerned with the direction in which it is heading. You can watch from the side-lines or do something about it. I would like to represent you for both Hillmorton and Rugby and do something about it.
For many years, government officials have been spending your money and mine like it is going out of fashion. Enough is enough.
Last year total council debt totalled some £140 billion. Warwickshire County Council owes more than £272 million in debt. For the financial year 2026-2027 it is estimated that
only 14 out of 317 councils will have balanced their books or be in surplus. This means your council tax will keep going up.
Reform will send in the auditors, get rid of the fraudulent contracts and cut wasteful spending. With the results, comes accountability and transparency. We will fill the potholes, promote business and do our best to prevent the program of mass house building. Wind and solar farms should not be built anywhere near residential housing.
I will be honest and upfront. Together we can make Rugby a better place to live and maybe, just maybe, get those council tax bills down one day.”
Please show your support for Gareth in Hillmorton - share this with friends, family, and neighbours in the area. Let’s bring real change to Rugby with Reform UK 🇬🇧
Reform will end mass immigration and deport illegals 🇬🇧🏴

Meet Your Local Candidates for Reform UK Rugby
Introducing Dan Glover - Candidate for New Bilton and Overslade, Rugby - Reform UK
None of us are career politicians. We're all local people who care deeply about our country and our community. Standing up and putting yourself forward is not an easy thing to do. However all of our candidates know Britain, and Rugby, deserves better.
Dan is a local man from Rugby who has lived and worked in the area all his life. He believes politicians at every level should serve ordinary working people, not the other way around.
He is running in this local election to improve the lives and opportunities of young people. He is a keen advocate for free speech, open debate, and representing the real working people of Rugby. Dan also feels that planning and housebuilding targets should be revised, given the explosion of house building Rugby has seen over the past 15 years.
A few words from Dan:
“Locally I’m very motivated about opportunities for young people and youth provisions. We need to look after our town and stop ruining our villages by cramming hundreds of houses on every inch of green space, it’s not what the people of Rugby want. I am extremely proud to be running for New Bilton and Overslade and I will represent ordinary working people.”
Please show your support for Dan in New Bilton and Overslade - give him a follow, share this with friends, family, and neighbours in the area. Let’s bring real change to Rugby with Reform UK 🇬🇧
