As we move up to U14s this coming season, we’re looking to welcome new players to join the squad from late August / early September 💙

At Sale FC, rugby matters, but the environment we create around it matters even more.

Most importantly, we believe every player should have the same opportunity to learn, improve and enjoy the game in a safe, supportive and fun environment.

Some players want to push themselves as far as they can competitively and they’ll be challenged and encouraged to work hard and improve every week. Others may simply want to enjoy rugby, build confidence, make friends and develop at their own pace and they are just as valued within the squad. Nobody gets pushed aside.

We want players who want to be part of a team that supports each other, works hard for each other and enjoys turning up every week. Winning is important, but being part of the squad and the culture we build together will always come first.

As one of the world’s oldest rugby clubs, Sale FC has a proud history and a fantastic community around it. Our senior 1XV competes in National 1 rugby, with members receiving access to all home games as part of club membership giving young players the chance to feel part of something bigger than just Sunday mornings.

Next season at U14 level brings exciting new challenges:

What a season!

After spending 2024/25 without a single victory we entered 2025/26 with a few clear goals.

- develop our skills.
- build an unbreakable team spirit.
- Win a game!

Well, it’s clear we smashed our goals! We found teams who played with the real values of TREDS (and reminders ourselves that a few still don’t).

As a development team we’ve grown and grown and we’re so proud of our group of lads and can’t wait to see continued development into U14’s!

Today was end of season awards and whilst all the boys deserve huge recognition we’re able to confirm our trophy winners as follows;

Congratulations to Lewis, one of our Year8 lads who took part and won in a recent Year 9 Northern Lacrosse Tournament held over the weekend.

He play’s for Brooklands U14's team and beat Timperley in the Plate Final 17-9. They all did themselves and their club proud.

Sale FC U13 are fundraising and this time it’s something…. A little different!

Wild Actors are coming to Awards day and will be brining a host of special creatures for those interested, or brave enough to get up close and personal with.

There is normally fee for a photo, but on this day we’ll just be asking for a donation for our tour to Saracens. Suggested £5-10.

Please note, M&J Awards day is a super fun, exciting and *Wild* time, but whilst these animals are very used to children, please just try and encourage some calm in attendance. It’ll just bring out the best for the kids and the Wild Actors

As our tour to Saracens gets nearer, we’re getting super excited and heading to our shirt supplier to pick up our new stash.
