WOW, what a week at the ISKA World Championships, Vienna 🌎 for Sonny Greaves 💪🏻 who went up against some of the Worlds top fighters.

Sonny took on the best at the ISKA World Championships in Vienna, stepping into the ring 7 times over 3 days against fierce competitors from Ireland, Malta, Romania, Germany, France, and the UK.

Sonny fought his heart out, winning 6 of his 7 fights and bringing home two medals….a Gold, a Bronze plus a bonus black eye!

What we’ve learned from championing an older workforce! 🧐

Workers over the age of 50 currently make up 33% of the UK’s workforce, but according to the latest Office for National Statistics labour market report, people between the ages of 50 and 64 have been the most economically inactive following the pandemic.

There are real benefits to employing older workers – from building a more diverse team to fostering a culture of belonging. There’s also an advantage from a recruitment perspective, offering an alternative source of talent.

Ultimately, the world has changed. People are now living longer, healthier lives, the state pension age is rising and forced retirement has come to an end.

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative/FLT Driver for our client based in Gainsborough.

📍 Gainsborough, Lincolnshire
💷 £13.50 per hour, rising to £13.50 on completion of probationary period
⏰ Permanent, Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5pm

Responsibilities:
✅Replenishing the Warehouse as and when required, ensuring stock is always available for picking
✅Moving pallets
✅Manual handling
✅Ensure all pallets, cages and stillages are secure in accordance with Health & Safety regulations
✅Locate products and rotate stock effectively
✅Comfortable with using a range of warehouse related equipment
✅Daily, pre-use safety inspections of forklift trucks and, if necessary, report any issues found
✅Unloading inbound shipments safely and moving pallets onto HGV vehicles and trailers or to warehouse

Requirements:
✅ FLT Counterbalance Licence essential (ideally external and in date but may consider in house)
✅ Must have a full UK driving licence and use of a car to visit another company site – essential
✅ Experience working within the warehouse is essential
✅ Health and safety aware
✅ Able to use warehouse equipment
✅ Excellent attention to detail
✅ Hardworking and reliable

As a Production Operative you will be working within a clean room environment where you will be handling garments worn within the scientific, manufacturing, factory, production and industrial sectors.

💷 £12.00 per hour plus overtime paid at time and a half
⏰ Fixed Days, 6am to 2.30pm OR fixed lates, 2.15pm to 10.30pm – some flexibility required

Responsibilities:
✅Packing and labelling boxes to be shipped out
✅Sorting and organising garments into correct order ready for a wash and clean process
✅Be involved in washing and cleaning process
✅Working to production targets
✅Manual handling
✅Working within a team to ensure targets and deadlines are met
