Last nights Runwize Ladies 5k trail social run was in keeping with my training plan and tapering for Threshold Trail Series Race to the Stone 100k on Saturday…nearly 100% heat acclimatised and in recovery…feeling ready! 👊🏻

This is not a race, weather is way too hot I am just hoping to finish/survive! 🥵

Hydration is key, keeping in the shade where I can is a definite, sunscreen is a must and smiling is compulsory 😁

It was a perfect evening for Runwize Ladies social run…cool with a light breeze 🥰

We explored shady footpaths and woody trails around Wallingford chatting all the way 🌾

Not long now to Threshold Trail Series Race to the Stones 100k 😬

Tonight we had a lovely Runwize Ladies social run along the shady Thames Path, through the woody Ridgeway trails and back along cool leafy lanes 🌳

It was great to be back with my Runwize Ladies social running group 🏃‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

We stopped to look at the amazing hollyhocks growing out of the pavements and ran the trails through the fields 🌾

A HUGE THANK YOU to all my amazing Runwize Ladies for a very fun Running Hen last night!!! 👰🏼‍♀️

We got a few odd looks and lots of smiling and waving as we ran around the streets of Wallingford in our fabulous hen outfits 👋🏼
