Take a breath, go back to basics and start afresh. Learn about markers, change your verbal cues, and mean what you say!
You’re starting in the wrong areas, you’re starting with obedience. Instead, check their health, sleep and exercise levels are correct. Then add play into the mix, a solid YES and a NO. Then and only then can you even think about moving outside towards triggers and training
A tight lead causes frustration for both you AND your dog
Reward your dog in position, correct when out of position. Set them up for success!
This isn’t what you think, I’m not training for the sake of obedience. We’re training with the end goal of emotional regulation, self control and calmness. This is the base line that reactive dogs are often missing
