I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of Jackie Barrett-Washington, a trailblazer and the first African-American woman to serve as sheriff of Fulton County. Her guidance and support over the years have been invaluable to me, shaping my approach to leadership in law enforcement. As we approach Election Day tomorrow, I am grateful for her continued prayers and backing. Her legacy is a beacon of integrity and commitment, and with her inspiration, I am dedicated to serving our community with the same fervor.

Grateful for the warm welcome at Eagle’s Nest Church with Pastor Lee Jenkins. It was a blessing to connect with the congregation and discuss how we can work together for a safer, stronger community. Engaging with our voters on a personal level strengthens our shared vision for the future. Remember to vote this Tuesday, May 21.

Last night at the 11th Annual Emerging Leaders Awards & Scholarship Gala hosted by the Emerging 100 of Atlanta, I was honored to witness their incredible achievements and commitments to our community. It was particularly inspiring to see Greg Clay from the Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services receive his well-deserved award. The E100 also celebrated a significant milestone by honoring more scholars than ever before, with total scholarships awarded since 2014 nearing $500,000.
Additionally, the Credible Messenger Program, a leader in the innovative restorative justice model, received a $10,000 grant to further their impactful work with justice-involved youth. Their efforts in modifying behavior and strengthening communities are exemplary.

Labat for Sheriff
“Thank you to the voters of Fulton County for your support and helping us reach the runoff on August 11. As is the case across the country, people are demanding change.
As Sheriff, I will be a vocal, clear and consistent voice for reform in our agencies and communities. Together, with all of our community, elected leaders and law enforcement partners, we must be willing to listen and lead, not ignore and be silent on important issues.
It's Time for Change in the Fulton County Sheriff's Office.” - Pat Labat
