The University of Wollongong is offering a funded PhD scholarship, as part of the NSW Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Doctoral Training Program, on exploring gender-based violence in the context of work - how workers report it, seek help, and access justice in NSW. Proposals are invited from interested candidates with projects linked to the theme.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with community legal and social service organisations to produce research with real-world impact. An interdisciplinary supervision team will support the project led by Associate Professor Sarah Ailwood (Principal) and supported by Dr Rachel Loney-Howes (Secondary) and myself as Associate Supervisor.
Recent graduates or experienced professionals alike are invited to consider this opportunity - with Honours or a research Master's in a related field.
Applications close Monday 29 June 2026. To learn more or talk it through, please reach out to Sarah at [email protected] — informal enquiries are warmly welcomed.
