STATUTORY TENANT
Where a tenant remains on the property after the expiration of the tenancy, it is unlawful for a landlord to forcibly eject him, as he becomes protected under the law as statutory tenant. A landlord can only so eject him by an order of a court.

PROPER HUMAN SEXUAL RIGHTS AND GHANAIAN FAMILY BILL 2021 - (Now awaiting Presidential Assent)
Under the provisions of the bill, those who take part in LGBTQ sexual acts could face imprisonment ranging from six (6) months to three (3) years.
The bill also imposes a prison sentence of three (3) to five (5) years for the “wilful promotion, sponsorship, or support of LGBTQ+ activities”.
