As we celebrate our nation’s freedom, we are reminded that true independence must reach every part of our lives — including menstrual health and dignity.

At NeedBe Foundation, we believe that period awareness is also a form of independence. No girl should miss school, feel ashamed, or be limited because of her period.

Through our new program, Impact Associates, we are championing Period Independence for All — empowering communities with menstrual education, breaking harmful taboos, and increasing access to safe menstrual products.

This Independence Day, let us commit to a Ghana where every girl is informed, confident, and free during her period.
