Proverbs 8:7 “For my mouth will speak truth; Wickedness is an abomination to my lips.”

Proverbs 12:17 “He who speaks truth declares righteousness, But a false witness, deceit.”

Proverbs 12:22 “Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, But those who deal truthfully are His delight.”

I have counseled with people for over 40 years. During that time, I have discussed the problem of lying or being caught in a lie many times. Some say it’s a “little white lie”, or I just mislead the other person, but it’s still a lie.

Telling the truth is simple, we don’t have to remember what we said. It brings healing, trust, faithfulness in relationships, and strengthens friendships. However, lies will breed distrust, break up relationships, and destroy business and personal friendships.

Our parents always said, “Tell the Truth, never lie, regardless of the consequences and Jesus will bless you!” It’s true, it has always brought favor into my life.

Not everyone wants to hear the truth, but when we speak the truth in love, it will accomplish great things in our lives and those around us!

Live a life full of truth and honestly, Jesus will honor and bless you!

Let’s make our New Year resolution to be there for each other and help fellow human beings in need even if we don’t know them personally. So come let’s spread some kindness and cheer!

Luke 11:22 “[Do Not Worry] Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on.”

Psalms 56:4 “In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh (man) do to me?”

The only thing worry does is damage our Faith in God. It causes health issues, damages our relationships, brings others down, and shows a lack of Faith in what God can and will do in our lives.

Worry is the devil trying to deceive us that God isn’t able to do what He promises. So…Do we believe the devil or God’s Promises?

I Believe in every Promise of God’s Word, worry has no place in my life!
