Shamun Bako began his broadcasting journey at Marhaba FM, one of Ghana’s earliest and most influential Hausa stations. He started as a news presenter, where his clear delivery, calm tone, and mastery of Hausa diction quickly earned him admiration. His rise was swift; he soon became the host of “Alfijir,” Marhaba’s flagship morning show, a programme that shaped public conversation and became a trusted voice for listeners across Accra.

• Bold and engaging interviews
• High-quality Hausa news presentation
• Deep understanding of Zongo issues
• Balance, fairness, and ethical journalism
