Over the weekend, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah joined the Board, Management, Staff and community of Asamang SDA Hospital (Abena Kwabena Memorial) for their 40th Anniversary Grand Durbar and Thanksgiving Service.The welcome was warm, the occasion was historic and the message was clear, a hospital that has served this community for four decades deserves every support we can give it.As part of the fundraising segment to acquire an X-Ray machine for the hospital, a contribution was made, because quality healthcare in our communities is not a luxury. It is a right. And when an institution that has carried that mandate for forty years calls on its people, a son of the soil must answer.Congratulations to the entire Asamang SDA Hospital family on this remarkable milestone.Four decades of quality and holistic healthcare, and many more to come. 🙏🏾🐘🇬🇭SEKYERE NI BAFor The People. This morning, Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah led the people of Asante Agona and it's environs in a community clean-up exercise ahead of the historic enstoolment of the Paramount Chief, and the turnout said everything.
The people simply showed up, brooms in hand, pride in their hearts, because they understood what this moment means for their community.
Asante Agona is ready to receive its Paramount Chief and the world should know that when OKAM moves, the people move with him.

Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah moved through the streets of Asante Agona, shaking hands with traders, sitting with the elders, sharing a laugh over a checkers board, listening to the market women, one conversation at a time.
No fanfare. No announcements. Just a man who belongs to these streets, walking them like he never left.
Asante Agona is preparing to receive its Paramount Chief and a son of the land is making sure home looks worthy of the occasion.
