“Esther Smith Divorced Me to Become the Third Wife of an Alhaji in Asawase, Kumasi” — Ex-Husband Spills More Allegations 👀💔
The ex-husband of Ghanaian gospel musician Esther Smith, Rev. Ahenkan Bonsu, has publicly revisited their 2008 divorce, making several fresh allegations about their failed marriage.
According to Rev. Bonsu, Esther Smith allegedly left the marriage after he bought a dress for their housemaid, an act he claims created serious tension between them.
He further alleged that the gospel singer divorced him to become the third wife of an Alhaji in Asawase, Kumasi, though he claims that relationship has also ended in divorce.
Rev. Bonsu also claimed that Esther Smith sold a church building he left behind for her after their separation. He additionally alleged that she named one of their children without his consent.
The pastor repeated earlier claims that he only discovered during court proceedings that the former couple allegedly had a third child he had never met before. According to him, custody of all the children was granted to Esther Smith after the divorce, although he continued taking care of their eldest child.
He also alleged that despite attempts over the years to reconnect Esther Smith with the child living with him, she has allegedly not maintained contact — claims which remain unverified.
The allegations have once again stirred conversations online about the couple’s highly publicized and controversial breakup.
As of now, Esther Smith has not publicly responded to the latest claims.

No Ghanaian Will Be Left Behind” — High Commissioner Locates Lone Ghanaian at OR Tambo Airport After Evacuation Mix-Up
Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has commended Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa, Benjamin Quarshie, for locating a young Ghanaian identified as Sylvester Boakye after reports claimed he was the only person who showed up for the planned evacuation exercise in Johannesburg.
According to Ablakwa, Mr. Boakye missed the updated evacuation notice but has now been assured that he will be included in the upcoming evacuation arrangements expected to cover about 800 Ghanaians seeking to return home from South Africa.
The Minister stressed that no Ghanaian willing to return home would be left behind.
He also dismissed reports suggesting that Sylvester Boakye had already been evacuated to Ghana on a chartered flight, explaining that no evacuation flight was deployed because Ghanaian and South African authorities agreed to postpone the operation pending legal, technical, and logistical arrangements.
“Truth stands; and truth always wins,” Ablakwa stated.

They Robbed Me, Held My Children and Me Hostage for Weeks Over My Bitcoin Password” — Dezmond K. Gillespie Accuses Police Officers
A man identified as Dezmond K. Gillespie has publicly accused some officers of the Ghana Police Service of alleged robbery, k!dnapping, torture, and threats to his life over what he claims was an attempt to forcefully obtain access to his Bitcoin account.
According to Gillespie, the officers allegedly r0bbed him, held him and his children hostage for weeks, and subjected them to severe torment in an effort to obtain his Bitcoin account password.
In an emotional statement posted in the “Information Wo Wiase” Facebook group, he claimed that instead of calming tensions after he publicly made the accusations, some officers allegedly contacted and threatened him to stop exposing what he described as police misconduct.
He further alleged that the officers warned he could be shot if he continued speaking publicly about the matter.
“These threats only make me stronger,” Gillespie reportedly stated, insisting he is not afraid as long as he continues to speak what he believes is the truth.
He also described the officers as “armed robbers” and accused them of abusing drugs and alcohol, claiming such actions would not intimidate him.
Gillespie disclosed that he plans to take legal action against the police service, saying he is seeking compensation amounting to hundreds of billions of dollars over the alleged ordeal.
Expressing frustration over the developments, he stated that the latest threats have deepened his anger and confusion. However, he added that he intends to carefully choose his words while continuing to share his story with millions of people worldwide through social media and other platforms.
He further revealed that he has reportedly appeared in court three times concerning the matter, but according to him, the police have still failed to present a police report in court.
The allegations have since sparked reactions online, with many calling for investigations into the claims made against the officers involved.
The Ghana Police Service has not publicly responded to these allegations at the time of this report.
