In today's message, we'll explore the art of prayer, focusing on declaring the Almighty God's decrees and prophesying His Word. By understanding and applying these biblical principles, you'll unlock the power of prayer and experience breakthroughs in your life.

*The Power of Prayer*

*Prayer is not just about talking to the Almighty God; it's about presenting our case to Him, backed by His Word and promises*. (Isaiah 1:18-19, 43:25-26; Ps 89:34-39)

When we pray, we need to know His decrees and promises, and call upon Him to honor them.

*Understanding Decrees, Declarations, and Prophesying*

A *decree* is a legally binding judgment or formal order issued by a higher authority, such as the Almighty God. (Psalm 2:7) In Scripture, we see God's decrees that are binding throughout the universe. As believers, we can tap into these decrees and declare them in faith.

A *declaration* is a public, formal, and authoritative announcement or statement. (Psalm 2:1-2, 149:6-9; Acts 4:24-31) When we declare the Almighty God's Word, we are speaking with authority, backed by His power.

*Prophesying* involves speaking on the Almighty God's behalf, declaring His words, and communicating His message to others. (1 Corinthians 14:1-3, Acts 19:6, Joel 2:28-29) As believers, we are called to prophesy and declare the Almighty God's Word, edifying and encouraging one another.

*Why Declare the Almighty God's Decrees and Prophesy His Word?*

1. *Demonstrates faith and trust in the Almighty God's sovereignty*: When we declare the Almighty God's decrees and prophesy His Word, we demonstrate our faith in His ability to fulfill His promises. (Psalm 2:7, 149:6-9)
2. *Activates the Almighty God's power and authority*: Declaring the Almighty God's Word and decrees activates His power and authority in our lives, bringing about breakthroughs and victories. (Acts 4:24-31)
3. *Edifies and encourages others*: Prophesying and declaring the Almighty God's Word edifies and encourages others, building them up in their faith. (1 Corinthians 14:1-3)
4. *Calls upon the Almighty God to honor His Word and promises*: When we declare the Almighty God's decrees and prophesy His Word, we call upon Him to honor His promises and fulfill His Word in our lives. (Isaiah 1:18-19, 43:25-26)

*How to Declare the Almighty God's Decrees and Prophesy His Word*

1. *Study Scripture*: Study the Almighty God's Word to know His decrees and promises. (Psalm 119:105)
2. *Meditate on the Almighty God's Word*: Meditate on the Almighty God's Word, allowing it to dwell richly in your heart and mind. (Psalm 1:2-3)
3. *Speak with faith and authority*: Declare the Almighty God's Word with faith and authority, knowing that His Word is powerful and effective. (Hebrews 11:1, Romans 10:8-10)
4. *In Jesus' name, Amen!*

The Bible provides numerous examples of individuals who declared God's decrees and promises in prayer. Let's look at a few examples:

- *Abraham*: Abraham prayed for S***m and Gomorrah, appealing to the Almighty God's promise and character. (Genesis 18:20-33)
- *Moses*: Moses interceded for Israel, citing the Almighty God's decrees and promises. (Exodus 32:9-14, Numbers 14:13-19)
- *David*: David declared the Almighty God's decrees and promises, and appealed to Him based on His character. (Psalm 2, 89, 119)
- *Joshua*: Joshua declared the Almighty God's decrees and promises, and God gave them victory. (Joshua 1:1-9, 10:12-14)
- *Elijah*: Elijah declared the Almighty God's Word and decrees, and God answered by fire. (1 Kings 18:20-39)
