Consistent Daily Bible Reading

The Annunciation: An angel (Gabriel) tells Mary in Nazareth she will conceive and bear God's son, he will be very great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Joseph, her fiancé, is also visited by an angel in a dream, confirming the divine conception and telling him to name the child Jesus, who will save his people.

The Journey to Bethlehem: Due to a decree from Caesar Augustus for a census, Mary and Joseph travel from Nazareth to Bethlehem, Joseph's ancestral town.

The Birth: Because inns are full, Mary gives birth to Jesus in a stable, placing him in a manger a feeding trough for animals

Come, let us return, lest my father cease caring about the donkeys and become worried about us. 1 Samuel 9:5

One of the confirming signs Samuel gave Saul was that the lost donkeys had been found and that his father had indeed stopped worrying about the animals and was anxious about his son's safety instead.

This demonstrates Saul's understanding of his father's heart.

Blind Bartimaeus
