Intercomp

As part of the Teach4Integration program, we had the opportunity to present the INTERCOMP intercultural tools, designed to support educators in fostering inclusive and culturally responsive classrooms. The session sparked great interest among all participating educators, who were eager to explore innovative ways to enhance intercultural competencies in their teaching practices. Engaging discussions followed, with attendees sharing their experiences, asking insightful questions, and reflecting on how these tools could be implemented effectively in diverse educational settings. The enthusiasm and curiosity of the educators reinforced the importance of equipping teachers with practical resources to navigate multicultural learning environments. We are excited about the impact of this exchange and look forward to further collaborations that promote intercultural education!😀

Με μεγάλη επιτυχία πραγματοποιήθηκε το Multiplie Event του Intercomp στο Αμφιθέατρο του ΤΕΦΑΑ Θεσσαλονίκης στη Θέρμη. Οι εισηγητές/τριες (Επίκουρη καθηγήτρια Δέσποινα Ούρδα, Καθηγητής Χαράλαμπος Τσορμπατζούδης, Καθηγητής Βασίλειος Μπαρκούκης και Υποψήφια Διδακτόρισσα Βιργινία Πολίτη) είχανε τη χαρά να συζητήσουν με τους παρευρισκόμενους όχι μόνο τα διαπολιτισμικά εργαλεία που έχουν δημιουργηθεί αλλά τις πολιτικές που είναι απαραίτητές για την εφαρμογή τους.

Professor Vassilis Barkoukis had the opportunity to present in the framework of the Erasmus Building Futures programme the development of intercultural competence through the tools of the Intercomp programme. The participating countries were delighted to network on the results of the meeting.🙂

What would intercultural competence trainings be without the people you meet there?

On 30/9-5/10/2024, the INTERCOMP project team facilitated their previously developed educational course and invited European educators to reflect on and further develop their intercultural competencies. In addition to the formal training, attendees connected on a more personal level - talking about each other's cultures, dancing together, laughing, relaxing at the beach, going for dinner, exploring Thessaloniki...thank you again to all attendees for these wonderful connections and memories!
