As we celebrate Greece's independence from the Ottoman Empire today and commemorate the start of our modern nation, I want to share my creative take on this momentous occasion as a proud hellène.

The inspiration for this poster came from my personal sketches, which I drew two years ago when I was commissioned to design a merchandising scarf for the 200th anniversary of the revolution. Each drawing is inspired by everyday objects that were used during the revolution, and my goal was to create an elegant scarf that depicted these historical objects, similar to those found in paintings of the era.

Because as we all know, freedom is never given, we have to fight for it!🤍
