Ακόμα άνοιξη λοιπόν κι ας μιλήσουμε για λουλούδια!🌸

Η τελετουργία της λεπτομέρειας - μικρές φούντες, μεγάλα συναισθήματα. Η λεπτομέρεια που δίνει χαρακτήρα σε αυτό το κεντημένο σε καμβά μαξιλάρι και στο χώρο!

Αυτές οι υπέροχες φούντες είναι μέρος από ένα μαξιλαράκι που κέντησα για ένα πολύ αγαπημένο μου πρόσωπο.

These beauties are part of a cushion that I stitched for someone very dear to me.

I was honoured to present this work at the Athens exhibition last April.

Life Keys.
The canvas is divided into four interconnected quarters, each one marking a stage of human existence: the moment of birth, the unfolding of growth, the steadiness of maturity, and the quiet rebirths that experience continually grants us. These sections form a circular, clockwise pathway—a gentle orbit of becoming—inviting viewers to follow the rhythm of a life in motion.
The stitched forms act as symbolic keys, each one capable of opening thresholds to deeper realms of understanding. They unlock chambers of memory, intuition, and emotional truth—doors the rational mind might never dare to imagine. Together, they trace the unseen architecture of transformation: the passages we cross, the revelations we encounter, and the inner landscapes we learn to navigate.
The circular motion of the composition reinforces the idea that life is cyclical rather than linear. We return, we shed, we begin again.
A visual metaphor for the lifelong act of opening towards wisdom, renewal and the quiet truths that shape us.

Στη ζωή συναντάμε σταυροδρόμια - άλλοτε τυχαία, άλλοτε πηγαίνοντας προς κάποιο προορισμό.Κάθε κατεύθυνση σε μαθαίνει κάτι και καμμιά πορεία δεν είναι λάθος.

Μεγάλο μέρος της ζωής μου έως τώρα ήταν τυχαίο, αγκάλιασα την κάθε διαδρομή και έστριψα όταν χρειάστηκε.

🪡Και κάπως έτσι τυχαία μέσα από τις αναζητήσεις έπιασα στα χέρια μου βελόνα και νήμα κι άρχισα να κεντώ στον καμβά.
Η διαδικασία ήταν απλή, ελάφρυνε τη βαριά καθημερινότητα, ενώ ταυτόχρονα έκανα κάτι δημιουργικό. Είναι μια πορεία χωρίς γυρισμό - σχεδόν θεραπευτική - και νιώθω βαθιά ευγνώμων που βρέθηκε στο δρόμο μου.

In life, we come across crossroads — sometimes by chance, sometimes while heading towards a destination. You learn something from every direction, and no path is ever truly wrong.

A large part of my life so far has unfolded by chance; I embraced each route and changed course whenever it felt right.

🪡And like this, by chance and while exploring, I found myself holding a needle and thread, and began to stitch on the canvas. The process was simple, took away the weight of every day life, while allowing me to be creative. It’s a path with no return - almost therapeutic - and I feel deeply grateful that it found its way to me.
