So much meaning behind this one logo!

This logo was done for ,a local intersectional feminist organization. They requested a logo that represents their inclusivity and communal approach. They also wanted to pay homage to their Amerindian roots.

For this, inspiration was taken from Mayan carvings. I utilized a symbol commonly used in Mayan culture that represents homecoming. This shows that is a safe haven for everyone. And by using a rugged style for the icon and font, I was able to recreate the look of Mayan stone carvings.

Colours used were shades of purple blue and pink to represent inclusivity
