As we approach our 55th Independence Anniversary, we wish to encourage all Guyanese to remember the sacrifices made by our forefathers to ensure the idea of Independence became a reality in 1966. So regardless of creed, ethnicity, and status, as Guyanese we should always remember that we are ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE DESTINY
