Never mix watermelon with pineapples.
They got two different jobs.
Pineapple is astringent. It pulls toxins and scrapes the digestive tract. Watermelon is a vital nutrient. It hydrates and flushes the system.
Mixing them sends your gut mixed signals.
That combo can cause fermentation in your stomach. And when that happens, you’re not detoxing you’re bloating.
Fermentation slows digestion, creates gas, and feeds bad bacteria.
More importantly, it creates alcohol in the gut, which puts more fat on your body.
