The Catalyst Effect
It explores the personal journeys, failures and triumphs.
Too many young girls are being preyed upon by grown men! Those men are predators, preying on our daughters are who are emotionally unprotected.
When there’s no father figure, when love feels conditional, or when home is a place of pain, predators step in offering fake safety, attention, and affection that broken systems at home failed to provide.
In Episode 5 of The Catalyst Effect, we unpacked the emotional neglect that makes girls vulnerable and we challenge parents to create homes where children feel safe, seen, and deeply loved.
Because if they don’t feel it at home, they’ll go searching for it elsewhere. And that’s where the danger begins.

The restrictiveness of traditional Caribbean parenting often goes unchecked but its impact on our children doesn’t vanish quietly.
Growing up, many of us lived under strict rules, corporal punishment, public shaming, and little room for emotional expression. Research shows this authoritarian style can suppress children’s self-esteem, foster depression, and hinder their independence long into adulthood.
Have you reflected on how your upbringing shaped you and how you’re breaking the cycle?
This episode took us deep… into the heart of parenting, the weight of unhealed trauma, and the habits we unknowingly pass down.
We explored what it really means to hold space, to parent with awareness, and to do the inner work so we don’t hand our pain to the next generation.
If you’re navigating your own healing while trying to show up better for those around you. This one’s for you.

HOLDING A SPACE FOR ADRIANA‼️
In this episode of The Catalyst Effect, we step away from the usual and sit in something heavier — grief, confusion, and the national heartbreak surrounding the death of 11-year-old Adriana.
I’m joined by a licensed Counseling Psychologist and Trauma and Crisis Specialist to help us process what many of us are struggling to hold — the pain of loss, the rage of injustice, and the emotional toll this has taken on us.
This is not an easy listen but it is a necessary one.
We talk about how Adriana’s family, our children, and our nation can begin to heal — not through noise, but through care, clarity, and action that actually matters.
We say her name, not for attention but because we refuse to forget.
Adriana, this space is for you.
