i have visualized my trip to bali for months now that it almost seems normal that im here. i have replayed in my mind the places i want to explore, eat, visit + even how i want pictures to be. in fact, when i bought this dress i visioned how i wanted a picture to turn out in it. i just love creating this life i live 🦋 @ Ubud, Bali, Indonesia

i’ve been thinking a lot lately and it’s on my heart to share. maybe some of you might be in the same boat at one point or another. eventually, i might turn this into a blog post but here’s the shortish version:

if you’ve been following me for awhile you probably know by now that im a huge self-love advocate + if you’ve been following me even longer than you know how far i’ve come in my journey to that. how i was so broken before and i had to build myself back up. getting into another relationship, to be honest i was terrified of losing myself again. i knew i couldn’t let that fear get in the way, i needed to trust myself and be confident in the woman that i fought so hard to become. but, here’s the thing, the right person will never make you feel anything less than you. the right person won’t ruin who you are, but will bring out other beautiful versions of yourself you didn’t even know existed. moral of the story: be with someone who can add to your happiness, challenges you and encourages you to love yourself. just because i am in a relationship now, that doesn’t mean that the journey towards self-love stops. it continues and i grow, i stay my own person and now i just get to share bits of my life with this pretty cool human. love yourself first and the rest will follow ✨ and never settle. you deserve it all.
