TLM would like to invite all our well wishers and supporters to this year's Remembrance Day on the 11th July 2026 at the Ummy Mwalimu Hall, Pediatric Building, Muhimbili National Hospital from 9am-12noon where we honour the courage and resilience of children battling cancer and the precious lives lost to it.

June was Brain Cancer Awareness Month. As we wrap up the month, Dr. Maria Mkondya explains what brain cancer in children is, the early warning signs to look out for, and the importance of seeking medical care as soon as symptoms are noticed.
Together, we can raise awareness and help children get the care they need.

A warm thank you to the Lions Club of Dar es Salaam- Uhuru for visiting TLM on Friday and presenting a generous cheque of TZS 4.8 million in support of our Uji Program. 💛
This incredible contribution will provide our highly nutritious porridge to children receiving cancer treatment for the next 10 months.
Good nutrition plays a vital role in helping children stay strong throughout their treatment journey, giving them the nourishment they need to better tolerate chemotherapy and continue fighting cancer.
We are deeply grateful to the Lions Club for standing with us and investing in the health and well-being of children with cancer.
