The Drogheda Chess Congress is back again for another year and open for entries!

A 6 Round, ICU & FIDE rated event over the June Bank Holiday Weekend (30th May - 1st June).

Prize fund: €3000+ subject to entry.

Venue: St Mary's Parish Primary School, Bryanstown, Drogheda A92 XD80.

A selection of images from the Drogheda Super Rapid 2K25 Klimax held recently over Christmas from the 27th to the 28th of December. A great turnout and a great event!

Congratulations to defending champion FM Oleg Artemenko, who once again finished 1st with a incredible score of 13.5/15, undefeated and with a round to spare.

IM Tarun Kanyamarala was 2nd on 12 points with FM Jason Liu 3rd. IM David Fitzsimons came 4th and FM Kavin Venkatesan was 5th. WGM Trisha Kanyamarala took the Best Women’s prize.
