Two Rooks Mate

We’re incredibly proud to share that our short film 🎥“Mantle Peace”, created in collaboration between Riot and Two Rooks Mate, written and directed by Aidan Gibson, starring Barry Roe and Ross Galvin, and produced by Derek Masterson, has been selected and screened at several film festivals to date, including Dublin International Comedy Film Festival and Dublin Movie Awards, and continues its festival journey where we’re excited for it to be screened at this year’s Fastnet Film Festival. It’s been a fantastic creative collaboration and we’re honoured to have played a part. Wishing the film and everyone involved every continued success on the festival circuit ahead.

Warmest congratulations 🎉 to (Two Rooks Mate Co-Founder) Barry Roe and (Two Rooks Mate alumni) Director James Power on their well-deserved Waterford News & Star Green Room Awards 2026 nominations for Stagemad’s production of “A Streetcar Named Desire”. 🎭 Barry’s Best Male Performance comes on the back of his powerhouse performance as Stanley Kowalski whilst James is deservedly nominated for Best Director.

We would also like to extend our sincerest congratulations to their fellow Streetcar nominees and collaborators: Lauren Cardiff and Clodagh Kenny who are nominated for Best Female Performance and Best Supporting Actress, respectively, together with the entire cast and crew who are all nominated for Best Drama.
