Tonight in Grenoble, the Girls in Green take on France in a winner-takes-all World Cup qualifier.

A win and they go straight to Brazil 2027. 🇮🇪🇫🇷

Every girl in Ireland wearing a green jersey tonight is watching.

Every one of them is dreaming.

If you can't see her, you can't be her.

Get behind them. 8pm. RTÉ. 💚

Congratulations Councillor Ivan Canning on the delivery of these projects all very welcome additions to Visit Portumna for locals and visitors alike.

I am delighted to say after my many representations which have been ongoing for the last number of years, there have been many accessibility improvements made to Portumna Town recently.
Firstly, the accessible ramps and realigning of the road at Billy Martins Juction have made this corner much safer for all road users and pedestrians.
The new Paedestrian Crossing at Dillons Corner has been a very welcome improvement to insure our town is accessible to all. (We are just waiting for the flashing beacons to be installed by Electric Skyline)
Finally, the Wheelchair Parking outside the Cottage Stores which I funded from my own discretionary funds, is proving to be very successful, given its location on the Main Street, which was needed for a long number of years.
Many thanks to Gerard Hough, Karl and their teams at GCC.
