Huge thanks to everyone who came out to help cutting the grass in the graveyard this evening. Also thanks to those who did a great job strimming over the weekend. Thanks to everyone’s efforts, the grass was all cut. There is still some grass to be gathered as the midges sent us home so that’s a job for another day.

Huge thanks to everyone who came to the graveyard last Tuesday and on two days in Feb and March to work on cutting the grass. It was great to see such community spirit in action. Weather permitting, the next meitheal will be on Tuesday, 5th of May from 7pm - 9pm and more help would be appreciated, even for half an hour - many hands make light work!

Hopefully we’ll see a good turnout. Please bring strimmers, rakes, wheelbarrow and/or push lawnmower. Even if you can come for half an hour, it would be great - Many hands make light work!

Hi all.
Would it be possible to gather a gang to cut the grass this week before it gets out of control again !!
I'm suggesting 7pm - 9pm on tuesday but if people can't make it on Tuesday, please feel free to go down for 2 hours anytime it suits you.
Hopefully see as many as possible on Tuesday at 7pm

Great turnout for our first tidy up of 2026! Thanks to everyone who came. We cut about half of the grass in the Rosshill Graveyard this morning.
We are looking for people to come again next Saturday morning from 9am - 11am to cut the remainder of the grass. Please bring a streamer, cord, petrol, push lawn mower if possible. Also rakes and wheelbarrows.
