Don't claim to be fully submitted to God, if you aren't accountable to someone.

This will rock some boats ⛴️. Some of us hide under the guise of "only God can lead me" to continue in rebellion.

The Bible says that the rebellious dwells in dry lands (Psalm 68:6), just as demons wander in dry places when cast out (Matthew 12:43).

A proof that you're truly led by God is that He is able to lead you through a person successfully. If you've never followed a servant of Christ genuinely, with no strings attached, you won't be able to lead others. Genuine leaders are formed and not self-acclaimed.

Allow God to lead you through the person He's sent you to. God led Israel by Moses. God led the disciples by Jesus. Paul said, "Follow me as I follow Christ" (I Corinthians 11:1) - this is the calibrated yardstick. This isn't human worship, but understanding that until you become a genuine follower, you don't qualify to become a leader that God can entrust souls into your hands.

"Who are you truly submitted to?"

Answer that question sincerely today and make the right changes by God's help.

Good day Fam,

Hope your day is going productively.

Most recently, I have been ruminating on how much do I really love God. Have you ever asked yourself the same question 💭?

Telling ourselves the honest truth, there could be areas where we have not truly loved Him...these are the areas in which we aren't submitted to Him.

As I ruminated on this question whilst feeding on relevant teachings, I heard apostle Joshua Selman sharing how God asked him if he could die for Him, to which he replied with a honest no. What ensued next was that God did something on his heart that changed his reply.

👉 Is there anything more important than God to me?
👉 Is there anything too big to give up because of God?

Funny enough, I have heard apostle Joshua Selman say this more than once: that if God should tell him to leave the ministry now, he won't hesitate because he loves God more than even ministry.

📍Let's ask ourselves, is there anything that competes with God in my heart? If yes, let's pray that such be dethroned and may the Lord be the one and only King of our hearts, amen 🙏.
