Following a serious collision, the N2 is closed at the junction of the N2 and R150, known locally as Curtis Cross. The R150 is also closed from this junction to Kentstown village.

Northbound traffic should divert at the R153 junction (Balrath Cross) into Navan and continue to Slane on the N51, rejoining the N2 at Slane.

Southbound traffic should divert towards Navan via the N51 at Slane and travel along the R153 rejoining the N2 at Balrath Cross.

It is expected the diversions will remain in place until late afternoon.
