If you know, you know… and Yamas Greek Restaurant is very much one of those places.

This is the kind of spot that doesn’t try too hard, because it doesn’t have to. Under the guidance of owner Nico, there’s a real sense of pride in what’s coming out of the kitchen and onto the table. It’s proper, honest Greek food, rooted in tradition, where flavour leads and everything else follows.

You’ll find all the classics here, done exactly as they should be. Nothing overworked, nothing unnecessary, just really, really good food.

There’s also a warmth to the place that you can’t manufacture. Family-run, welcoming, and relaxed, with subtle nods to Greece throughout the space. It feels easy in the best way.

And then there’s the wine 🍷 A proper selection, thoughtfully chosen, and well worth leaning into when you’re here.

This is one of those restaurants you go back to. Not for hype, but because it delivers every single time.
