Native Circles are a set of simple illustrations of natural cycles that create space for nature connection and self reflection.

Today, 16th October the new moon is 2 days old. In its waxing crescent phase.

This is a lovely time to sit with your hopes and feelings and maybe to set intentions for the cycle ahead. As the moon ‘grows’ over the coming weeks so may your intentions begin to manifest in habit. As habits form and our minds keep visioning what we want to bring into our lives, we move closer to those aspirations and our intentions can become our reality.

Pictured here is the Moon Phases lined notebook, a perfect place to journal or set in writing practices like these.

Our notebooks are made from 95% post consumer waste. The lovely, very slightly flecked paper takes ink pen beautifully and is thick enough to not allow any bleed to the other side. They are made for us by our good friend in Cork.

Autumn Equinox returns

Waving hello to you all after a lengthly absence. Life got very life-y there for a while and I just didn’t have any extra Emily to share. I’m getting back to creating again after a summer of adventure and fatigue! Between building a new website, camping, potty training, avoiding rain, making most of sun, and generally grappling with the fun and force that is a 2 .5 year old boy... it’s been a trip!

Sometimes I get to this point in the year and I don’t feel ready for the shift, the fall the slow down. But this time I’m almost a step ahead; expecting the leaves to be turning already as my energy finds it’s equilibrium again. Equal day and equal night sounds very good to me!

I hope you had a good summer and feel ready for the season ahead.

Seasonal Food Calendar

This cycle is all about finding the

Food available to you.

May

Coming into season now are Strawberries, Broad Beans, French Beans and Cucumber.

Best in season this month is Rhubarb. You will find people that have it growing will be giving it away. And this tangy, tropical flavor lends itself so well to baking and preserving.

This print is a handy reference for any kitchen or eatery. A great way to keep in mind what’s in season. Save money, save energy, save time and do less harm to the environment. 💚
