A Brilliant Day of Music in Hollywood, Co. Wicklow! 🎶

Music Generation Wicklow was thrilled to team up again with the Music Under the Mountains programme for our second Community Trad Session at The Hollywood Community Centre on Saturday, 28th March — and what a day it was!

We were blown away by the support from families and friends, with many joining in by bringing their own instruments and performing. The room was full of energy, talent, and community spirit 💚

A very special highlight was a visit from Kevin Conneff of The Chieftains, who treated everyone to three fantastic songs. He also took the time to chat with our young musicians and joined in on session favourites like the Kerry Polka — a moment our students won’t forget!

Our Saturday morning lessons in Hollywood continue to grow in popularity, with young people enjoying classes in Piano, Accordion, Banjo, Guitar, Tin Whistle, Flute and Fiddle 🎻
