ALYN Hospital is proud to be a part of history in the making as our Director General Dr. Maurit Beeri and our Deputy Director for Clinical Services Naomi Gefen complete a week of sharing their expertise with health professionals in Uzbekistan as part of the launch of Wheelchairs of Hope in the country. From the project's inception, ALYN Hospital staff have been close partners on the development of the low-cost, durable, kid-friendly wheelchairs . Thanks to the indefatigable Wheelchairs of Hope co-founder and entrepreneur Pablo Kaplan, Israeli Ambassador to Uzbekistan Eddie Shapira, and the visionary Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov for making this a reality!
