I lost my dad 3 years ago.
This is my favorite picture of us! Fishing was one of our favorite pastimes together. I used to love going fishing with my dad and getting my hands dirty with worms and bait and dirt, listening to the sounds of nature and if we were lucky, the excitement of reeling in one!

On this day, it seemed fitting to finally go fishing again. We made it a special day, full of things that my dad would love.

Thank you dad for my sense of adventure and a foundation of real love.
